The amazing art of up-cycling gets me going, I love the idea of creating something beautiful from items that were headed for landfill. Rainbow Clock Shelf
I picked up this grandfather clock for $10.
It's not an antique or anything like that. In fact I think it may be from 'Home/Copper Art'. It was a little bit daggy and old fashioned, so I decided to trash it....

Recycled Office
Marc and I both do a lot of work from home and once we moved our kitchen out of this tiny nook, we wanted to create a better workspace....
We had this...very sad....
and this...
and with a couple of bits and pieces from the shed and some retro wallpaper we ended up with this .....
Patchwork Lanterns
I had these giant chinese lanterns hanging in my garden, after a while
the sun damaged them and the red fabric and tassels fell apart. I just
couldn't bring myself to throw the wire frames away, so I recovered them
in fabric offcuts and other bits and pieces and hung them in my lounge
room....
