beautiful junk

Hello! Welcome to my post, a post about the wonderful possibilities of junk... Nothing excites me more than junk, a garage sale, a pile of crap on the side of the road - wood, rust, old paint and fabric - is that sad ha ha? The amazing art of up-cycling gets me going, I love the idea of creating something beautiful from items that were headed for landfill. I created this blog because I needed to, I have a lot of thoughts and projects to share. I hope you enjoy...

Revamped Sideboard

My neighbours were throwing out this sideboard!.... it was in pieces and missing the top and door inserts, it is now one of my favourite things. It lives in my dining room with a selection of other found bits and pieces, I estimate this whole section cost me around $10....Thanks Ken & Pam!
